Adelaide, Australia (1 September 2020) – Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Monopoly Property Group announced its AUD42 million resort on the Yorke Peninsula. will be rebranded to Wyndham Wallaroo Shores Resort, under a new franchise agreement with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest hotel franchising company with 9,000 hotels across approximately 90 countries.
The resort will join the portfolio of upscale Wyndham® branded hotels and resorts which are known for comfortable, well-designed accommodation and exceptional service in sought-after destinations all over the world including Gold Coast, Sydney, Bali, Phuket, Shanghai, Dubai, Athens and more.
The new Wyndham Wallaroo Shores Resort is expected to open by 2023 and will offer 100 villas and a host of leisure facilities including swimming pools, tennis courts, barbecue areas, a gym, a function centre seating up to 150 guests as well as a 42-seat luxury cinema. The resort is the first stage of an AUD220 million mixed use project across 18.5 hectares and is estimated to generate more than 1,000 jobs during construction.
