As part of the campaign, homes, businesses, and facilities are encouraged to turn off their lights for one hour to raise awareness of global climate change and sustainability issues. Earth Hour 2022 took place last Saturday, March 26, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. local time.
Hotels by Wyndham in Asia Pacific have actively supported and promoted the Earth Hour campaign at the property level. The hotels were encouraged to develop creative offerings for guests such as candlelight dinners, using glow-in-the-dark materials, symbolic #EarthHour centerpieces and other meaningful activities. Taking part in Earth Hour isn't only about committing for one hour on one day – it's about committing every day to take care of each other and the one home we all share.
